First, The transformer is a electrical equipment, its inside is filled with a lot of power. The partial discharge is easy to produce ozone. Ozone is a kind of very high oxidation material. So it is easy to oxidation decomposition by ozone. This is electrical aging. 


Second, except the electrical aging, there is also have heat aging. When the transformer is in the operating. The internal is easy to produce a lot of heating. So let the high polymer insulating materials to occur thermal degradation and low molecular substance produced or spilled. This is heat aging. The heat aging have greatly weakened the insulating performance and mechanical performance. 


Third, there is an aging that called environment aging. It is refer to the insulating material that in the benefits of light, oxygen, radiation and alkali to cause the pollution chemical reaction. However, one of the most important factor is the ultraviolet ray in sunshine. 


Though the above analysis, everyone should be able to know that transformer insulation aging problem is inevitable. What we can do that is to check the transformer regularly. It is doing the replacement in advance before the problems happen in order to avoid the power breakdown.
